Kerstin Olson: President

Kerstin joined the Rocky Mountain CMSA Board five years ago as the Education Chair and was recently elected President starting in 2011. Kerstin has a degree in social work and started her work in hospital case management over 15 years ago. Kerstin has worked in a variety of settings including: both short term and long term acute care hospitals, acute rehab and long term care. Kerstin has also worked as a nursing home administrator. Currently Kerstin is the Director of Business Development for Colorado Acute Hospital in Denver.

Sheryl L. Swan RN, BSN, CCM: Treasurer

Sheryl joined the Rocky Mountain CMSA Board in 2010 as a member-at-large. Sheryl brings to the board 27 years of nursing experience with the last 13 years in Emergency Department Case Management. Sheryl developed an Emergency Department Case Management Program with poster presentations at the 13th Annual NICM Clinical Case Management Conference 2006, ENA 2008 Leadership Conference, 2007 Rocky Mountain CMSA Annual Conference and speaker presenter at the 16th Annual NICM Clinical Case Management Conference 2009 and speaker at the 2009 Rocky Mountain CMSA Conference. Sheryl was also selected as the "2007 Case Manager of the Year" for the Rocky Mountain CMSA Chapter. Sheryl currently works at Swedish Medical Center as an Emergency Department Case Manager.
